Silicon Valley Tour

I was leaving and running so called Silicon Valley for more than 2 years. Many people recommend garage of HP or Inter Museum, but my aspects are somewhat different

1. How to Go?

(1) San Jose Airport

San Jose is the capital city of silicon valley. I recommend you to visit San Jose AIrport for quick assess to the silicon valley

(2) San Francisco Airport

1) Shared Shuttle

If you climb up to the second floor of San Francisco Airport, you may take a shared shuttle. It would cost only 30 USD from the downtown and any hotels in the sillicon valley.

2) Subway

You may take BART from the airport and transfer to the CAL train in the Milbrae. You may take out Palo Alto (HP), Sunny Vale (Apple, google), Lawrance , Santa Clara and San Jose.

2. Where to Stay?

(1) Hilton Hotel in Santa Clara 산타클라라에 있는 대형 호텔이다.

If you had enough buget you may stay in the Hilton hotel in the Santa Clara. It is also closed to the convention center in Santa Clara.

(2) Friendship Inn 한국인이 운영하는 조그만 호텔이다.

If you are a Korea, I recommend you to stay at the Friendship Inn in the Sunny Vale. The address and phone number is as follows

(3) Red Roof Inn in Burlingame 샌프란시스코 공항 근처의 조그만 호텔이다.

I stayed red roof inn in Burlingame. It is only 10 minutes from the San Francisco ariport and they are running suttle bus from the hotel. It departs at 25min and 55min from the hotel on every hour. It cost around 80 USD and it has a nice restaurants and golf practice zone is nearby. I recommend this place for budget travel.

3. Where to buy?

(1) Hankook Supermarket 엘 까미노 레알의 가장 큰 한인 슈퍼마켓이다.

If you drive to the east in the El Camino Real (That means a royal road in Spanish) You may find a Hankook Supermarket. It provides almost everything for Koreans needed for daily life.

(2) Great Mall in Milpitas 북부 캘리포니아에서 가장 큰 쇼핑몰이다.

The great mall in located in the Miliptas and it is one of the largest shopping mall in the silicon valley.

4. What to do?

(1) Horse riding in the Saratoga 사라토가에서는 말을 타고 실리콘 밸리 전경을 감상할 수 있다.

You may rent horses in the ranches in the Saratoga. It would cost around USD40 per 1 hour of ride and you may enjoy the beautiful scenary of the valley.

(2) Playing a golf in the Sunon Valley Golf Course 그린피가 가장 저렴한 퍼블릭 코스 중 하나이다.

This is an amazingly cheap golf course on the silicon valley. I used to pay only USD11 for 36 holes.

(3) Driving to the Veracruz and visiting Theme park 설악산을 넘어 강릉을 가는 느낌

It would take only an hour from the San Jose to the Veracruze. The meaning of the Veracruze is a real cross and it has such a beautiful beaches and nice themepark. The themepark would cost only USD30 for entrance.

(4) San Francisco City Tour  워낙 유명한 곳

You may also drive to the golden gate bridge and take a dinner in the Pier 39. There are some tour packages cost USD55.

(5) Monterey 해변과 수족관 등이 일품이다.

Monterey is a big city in Mexico and California has a same city. Monteray is a originally the capital of California. It has a nice aquarium and has many beautiful beaches

(6) Carmel. 하얀 백사장과 고풍스러운 주택이 인상적이다.

Carmel is an extreemly beautiful city. It has an attract white colored sand.

(7) China town 샌프란시스코의 차이나 타운만큼 크지는 않지만 약간의 중국식당이 있음

If you are a CHinese, you may also visit China town, it is located in the Washington Street and Kearny Street,

(8) Hiller Aviation Museum 항공기의 역사를 엿볼 수 있는 곳

The Hiller aviation museum has a collection of technological collection of flight including past, present and future

(9) Six Flags 비교적 큰 놀이 공원

Six Flags are a theme park located on the northern parts of the Bay area. You may enjoy similar facility in Mexico city also,.

(10) Winery 20달러 정도면 포도주를 실컷 맛볼 수 있다.

There are many inery in the east part of Bay area. You may drink lots of wine in only 10-20 USD. You may also purchase a bottle of wine at a reasonable price. One of the place that I had an ad is Castle winery in 4045 North St. Heleny Hwy Calistoga CA 94515.

(11) Ferry boat 피어39는 기념품점이 많고 피어 43에서는 유람선을 탈 수 있다.

If you wish to ride a boat in the San Francisco, you may visit Pier 43 and half . You can find a Redand white fleet boat company. It is located at the end of Taylor Steet, Public parking, Muni F-Line and Fisherman's Wharf is nearby,
